Feng Shui Abbotsford

Feng Shui Abbotsford - The oriental idea of Feng Shui literally means "wind and water." This complex idea is more simply understood than it is pronounced or defined. Feng Shui has to be experienced in order to completely understand its ramifications on the human spirit. The intangible energy known as chi is ever present and surrounds the application and the meaning of Feng Shui. Even though it is elusive, chi is everywhere in the world and is considered one's aesthetic periphery. Feng Shui reveals itself in our attitudes regarding landscape and about life. It is the framework we place either unconsciously or consciously all-around our lives.

According to the cultures in the Orient, object positioning like for example buildings, graves and furniture is based on the patterns recognized all through the flow of chi and yin and yang. Together, yin and yang energies create both positive and negative effects. Feng Shui is made up of five elements. These elements are metal, fire, earth, wood and water. They combine in their own specific ways to create either destructive or positive cycles. In order for optimum Feng Shui to be obtained in whichever room, all of the five elements would be involved without being overpowered by whichever one of them individually.

For instance, if metal elements like modern furniture pieces dominate an area, the effect can be balanced by putting wood elements to the room such as green plants. Candles could also be integrated in order to form the fire component. When implementing Feng Shui as a design feature in anybody's home, it is important to make use of natural substances if possible. The double aspects of yin and yang always reign supreme in Feng Shui for the reason that the basic purpose is to be able to produce a harmonious balance among natural things and humans.

The bedroom is considered one of the more vital rooms in whatever house. The bedroom is essential to the flow of energy throughout the home. Beds themselves are believed to have power positions also. Some ancient Asian philosophy believe that the energy from somebody who ever slept in a bed leaves a residue. For optimum Feng Shui, the way the bed is placed in relation to the bedroom door needs to be considered. The door has to always be seen from the bed. If the door is not seen from the bed, anyone can make use of a mirror in such a way that it will reflect the door. This will restore Feng Shui.

Feng Shui connects life and landscape together and all things in life depend on each other. The Oriental way of thinking believes the landscape is a living and breathing entity. There are lots of aspects about humanity and heaven and earth that the Western world can consider as individuals in the east do. Like as Shakespeare said in Hamlet, "There are more things in heaven and earth, my dear Horatio, than are dreamt of in your philosophy."
